    lucky you!

i'm so jealous of people who have a good LQS. i think the rent around here is so high and the cost of living too that they have to over charge for everything.

the prices have gotten so high that people have stopped shopping with them. i used to have 7 LQS all within a 20 minute drive now there are only 3.

i think one of them will be closing soon they haven't ordered any new fabric lines in 2009 and i don't they will in 2010. they've reduced their fabric shelf space by 50% and have put nothing in its place.

We call it "Plexiglas". Same stuff, different brand-name-that-has-become-the-name.

Plexiglas... that's it, thank you! Knew it was similar but couldn't get it off the tip of my tongue! :-)

    Wow... that's impressive!

I love the thought of doing two.... mine is going to be scrappy and I love the thought of doing one in just two colours. But the actual act of making two of each block? i'm not sure I'm up to it! lol

I must say this is an ambitious bunch. I may have to quit my job just to keep up with making one and you all are talking about making 2 and 3 and oh my!
